Newly elected US President Donald Trump and outgoing President Joe Biden met at the White House. Biden welcomed Trump to the White House on Wednesday (November 13).
After winning the election on November 5, this is the first time that the future President Trump went to the White House. The two leaders discussed the power transfer process.
Trump had to leave the White House after being defeated by Biden. Trump is returning to the White House of the United States after defeating Biden's Vice President Kamala Harris.
He will be sworn in as president on January 20, 2025. Two months ago, Trump stepped into the White House on Wednesday.
Biden congratulated Trump for winning the election. He told Trump, "Welcome back." Biden assured Trump that there will be a peaceful transfer of power.
Trump's first opponent in this election was Biden. But because of his age, Democrats themselves questioned his candidacy. In such a situation, Biden decided to step down just a few months before the election. Instead of Biden, Kamala Harris ran against Trump. But was defeated.
