The radical gathering Hayat Tahrir al-Farce (HTS) has assumed command over Syria, finishing the 24-year rule of President Bashar al-Assad. The top of this al-Qaeda-partnered bunch is Abu Mohammed al-Jolani. He is viewed as the genius behind the defeat of the Assad government.
